Many ways I've been involved in the gaming industry.
I have been part of the gaming industry for many years now in many ways. This page is to showcase many of those experiences I have contributed to over the years. Some of these are still functional, and some are defunct.

I'm proud to have been part of these experiences, and I'm looking forward to creating many more in the future. Some of these are board gaming adjacent, as specified on their sections.

Game Demonstrations at my FLGS

I have been honored to run our weekly game night events for the past 10 years at Zia Comics in Las Cruces, NM. They run a great store and I hope that you can come visit any time you come to town. Over the years being the "Game Guru" I have provided generations of gamers the love of games, which have built relationships amongst friends that will be memories that will last their entire lives. So many friendships have been created because of these events, and I couldn't be more proud of the communities we've built.

Play Card Collecting Book
Many years before gaming full-time, I was a professional magician. I also collected playing cards and have a collection of about 2,500 decks of cards. I number of years ago, I wrote a book about tips and tricks to collecting modern playing cards. If that is a topic that interests you, please check out the book on Amazon, and consider buying it!

Talkin' Tabletop
For my local FLGS: Zia Comics, we created and produced more than 135 videos doings Top-5 Lists, discussions, and how to play videos. Check out the channel here!

I am a proud Herald of the Double Exposure Envoy Program for more than 7 years and through this program I am certified in over 74 games to teach. I've ran these demonstrations at conventions and store events.
Gamification in the classroom

I have been an elementary education teacher for the past 9 years and I have always incorporated Gamification into my lessons. The benefits of using games for students is a HUGE benefit to them in a number of ways. It increases their critical thinking skills, logical thinking, cooperation, social/emotional needs, ELA and Math skills, and countless others important skills to develop. I have written many lesson plans which utilize the skills I've learned from gaming, and I am a huge advocate for using games in the class.
